UK junior Blake Oil & Gas and Czech conglomerate MND Group
have hired Germany’s DMT to acquire 2D seismic at their trio of
licences onshore Georgia.
The two explorers said the German outfit would acquire 423
square kilometres of land seismic on the Upper Kura basin licences in the east
of the former Soviet country.
The data is to be acquired from April to September and processed in Hanover.
The onshore licences span 1407 square kilometres and are close to existing infrastructure in the capital Tblisi, according to MND Group.
MND Group inked a venture deal with Blake Oil & Gas last August under which it will invest $100 million on the licences in return for a 50% share.
