Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili took office in October 2012. His victory was a blow to Georgia's pro-Western President, Mikheil Saakashvili, in power since 2004.
The tycoon has spoken exclusively to the BBC about his strained relationship with Georgia's president and about coming to power in a country with such a turbulent political past.
